The company said in June that those targets "factor in the acquisition of Semrush Holdings, Inc. and assume current macroeconomic conditions" — a clause that keeps the guide from being a clean organic comparison.

Oracle's $8.05 guide is called 18% growth against a base its reported results do not show
Oracle reports first-quarter fiscal 2027 results after Thursday's close. Its full-year non-GAAP EPS guide implies a fiscal 2026 starting point roughly 80 cents below the $7.631 the company actually reported, because two asset sales are backed out of the comparison.

Kroger's identical sales guide carries a 130 basis point drag disclosed only in a footnote

Docusign Beat Its Own Quarter by $8.7 Million and Raised the Full Year by $7 Million
The fiscal 2027 revenue guide moved from $3,490-$3,502 million to $3,499-$3,507 million. At the midpoints that increase is smaller than the second-quarter revenue beat, which leaves the implied second half fractionally lower than it was in June.

The optical networking maker posted adjusted earnings of $2.11 a share against GAAP earnings of $1.83, lifted its fiscal 2026 revenue outlook to $6.42 billion, and told analysts hyperscalers now account for roughly half its business. Premarket quotes swung from a gain to a steep loss.

Victoria's Secret Raises Its Full-Year Sales Outlook but Guides Third-Quarter Operating Income to $10 Million to $20 Million
Second-quarter net sales rose 10% and adjusted earnings beat both compilers' consensus, yet the retailer's plan to step up marketing spending left the current quarter's profit guide well below Street expectations. Shares fell sharply in premarket trading.
Toro's GAAP Earnings Rose 50% and Its Adjusted Earnings Rose 7%: Reading a Quarter With Two Answers
The lawn and turf equipment maker posted fiscal third-quarter net sales of $1.226 billion, up 8.4%, and narrowed its full-year sales growth range upward. The distance between its two earnings presentations is the most instructive number in the release.
Snowflake Reports Tonight With No GAAP Counterpart to Its Margin Guide: Last Quarter's Two EPS Lines Were $1.25 Apart
Snowflake releases second-quarter fiscal 2027 results after Wednesday's close, against a company guide of $1,415m-$1,420m in product revenue and a 12.5% non-GAAP operating margin. There is no GAAP counterpart to that margin guide, and in the April quarter the company's GAAP and non-GAAP per-share lines pointed in opposite directions.

Two Discounters Raised Full-Year Guidance on Tariff Refunds Neither Company Adjusted Out
Dollar Tree booked a $1.31-per-share tariff refund benefit inside a $2.70 quarter, and its GAAP and adjusted EPS came in identical, meaning the refund survives both measures. Dollar General's $0.25 benefit accounts for 43.5% of the midpoint increase in its full-year guidance, and unlike Dollar Tree, whose release announces an increase only at the earnings line, it also raised its sales and same-store sales ranges.
Campbell's Closes Fiscal 2026 on Thursday Against a Reaffirmed $2.15-$2.25 Adjusted EPS Range
Campbell's reports fourth-quarter and full-year fiscal 2026 results before Thursday's open, with a full-year adjusted EPS range it last reaffirmed on June 5 and an adjusted EBIT guide calling for a 20% to 17% decline. In the third quarter its GAAP EPS rose 86% while its adjusted EPS fell 32%, and the reason the GAAP line rose is a narrowing of the gap between the two measures rather than an improvement in the business.
Medtronic grew 13.7% in a quarter that had a 53rd week in it
Medtronic reported fiscal first-quarter results before Tuesday's open, raised its full-year outlook and posted non-GAAP diluted earnings of $1.45 a share against a GAAP figure of $1.14. Buried in the release is the reason the top-line number looks the way it does: fiscal 2027 is a 53-week year, and the extra week landed in the quarter just reported.

Zscaler already told investors what fiscal 2027 looks like. Thursday is when it has to mean it
Zscaler closes its fiscal year with a report after Thursday's close, and its own May shareholder letter has already put a number on the year that follows: total ARR and revenue growth of 16 to 17 percent. That is roughly eight percentage points below the growth rate the company has guided fiscal 2026 to finish at.
Five reports land after tonight's close, and expectations sit at or above the top of every guided range we checked
Credo, Dell, GitLab, MongoDB and Palo Alto Networks all report after the close on Tuesday. Checked against the last guidance each company published, the per-share expectations circulating into the print sit at the ceiling of the guided range — or through it — wherever a range exists. Three of the four whose guidance we verified most recently posted a GAAP operating loss.
SAIC Raised Its Full-Year Adjusted EPS Guide to $10.65-$10.75. It Earned $10.75 on That Measure Last Year.
The government-services contractor reported fiscal second-quarter results before Monday's open and lifted its fiscal 2027 outlook for the second time this year. Read the raised range against last year's actual and the ceiling is exactly flat; read it against the first half already banked and it requires a smaller second half.
Lululemon Reports Thursday With No Adjusted EPS to Hide Behind, and a Consensus That Sits Inside Its Own Guidance Range
The company told investors in June to expect second-quarter diluted earnings of $1.76 to $1.81 against $3.10 a year earlier. The Zacks-compiled consensus of $1.79 falls between those two numbers, which means the Street is largely scoring lululemon against a bar lululemon set. One compiled revenue figure points the opposite way from the company's own range.

Broadcom Guides Three Numbers for Wednesday Night, and Earnings Per Share Is Not One of Them. Three Previews Carry Three Different EPS Estimates.
Broadcom's outlook for the quarter it reports on September 2 consists of a revenue figure and two margin percentages. No earnings-per-share guide exists. Compiled estimates circulating this week run from $2.83 to $3.24, only one of the three previews we checked names the compilers behind its number, and none of the three says whether the figure is GAAP or non-GAAP.

The chipmaker's self-reported fiscal second-quarter revenue of $2.739 billion topped the midpoint of the guidance it issued on May 27. Nvidia's GAAP EPS of $2.46 Came In Above Its Non-GAAP $2.22. A $7.77 Billion Equity Gain Explains the Inversion.
Nvidia posted fiscal second-quarter revenue of $96.2 billion after Wednesday's close. The rarer number is the earnings pair: GAAP earnings per share landed above the adjusted figure, not below it.
Nvidia Guided to $108.0 Billion for Its Third Quarter and Said the Number Assumes No Data Center Compute Revenue From China
The outlook implies a 12.2% sequential step up from the $96.221 billion just reported, and it carries an explicit exclusion that also appeared in the company's previous outlook. Gross margin is guided a full point lower than the quarter that just closed.
Three Wednesday-Night Reports, Three Different GAAP-to-Non-GAAP Directions: Nvidia, Salesforce and CrowdStrike
Nvidia's GAAP EPS landed above its adjusted number. Salesforce's sat $1.61 below. CrowdStrike's GAAP net income was roughly one sixty-first of its non-GAAP figure. Same label, three different stories.

Intuit Reports Fiscal Q4 Non-GAAP EPS of $4.03 Against Its Own $3.56-$3.62 Guide, and Redefines Non-GAAP for Fiscal 2027
The quarter ended July 31 came in above every line of the guidance Intuit issued in May. Buried in the same release: effective Aug. 1, 2026, share-based compensation is no longer excluded from Intuit's non-GAAP measures, which makes the fiscal 2027 non-GAAP outlook non-comparable to the fiscal 2026 non-GAAP result printed a few paragraphs above it.
Semtech Posts Fiscal Q2 Net Sales of $341.9 Million Against a $328.0 Million Guide, With GAAP EPS of $1.59 Running Above Non-GAAP EPS of $0.71
The chipmaker cleared the top of its own revenue range by $8.9 million and guided the October quarter to $410.0 million. The rarer detail is the direction of the GAAP-to-non-GAAP gap: reported GAAP earnings per share came in more than twice the adjusted figure, the opposite of the usual arrangement.
Nvidia Reports Fiscal Q2 After Wednesday's Close Against Its Own $91.0 Billion Guide, With Compiled Consensus Running $91.7 Billion to $92.2 Billion
The company's May outlook assumes no data center compute revenue from China at all. Also worth watching: Nvidia's GAAP earnings per share came in above its non-GAAP figure last quarter, and the widely quoted $2.08 consensus does not say which basis it is on.

DICK'S Reported $3.50 GAAP and $3.53 Non-GAAP. Three Cents Apart Is the Strange Part.
DICK'S Sporting Goods' second quarter carried $29.3 million of Foot Locker acquisition costs and a $38.1 million tariff refund that very nearly cancel each other out in the reconciliation. Run the same exercise over six months and the two measures swap places.
Intuit Closes Its Fiscal Year After Tonight's Bell. Its Own Fourth-Quarter Guide Spans $0.73 and $3.62.
Intuit will report fiscal fourth-quarter and full-year results after Tuesday's close. The consensus numbers circulating this week sit neatly inside the non-GAAP half of a guide whose two halves are nearly $3 a share apart — and none of them say which half they belong to.

Nvidia's 'Second Quarter' Ended July 26. DICK'S Ended Aug. 1. Intuit's Report Tonight Closes a Fiscal Year.
The last heavy week of the season is stacked with companies whose quarters do not line up with the calendar, with each other, or with the blended growth rate everyone is quoting.

Nvidia is scheduled to report fiscal second-quarter results after the close on Wednesday, Aug. 26, against company guidance issued in May of $91.0 billion in revenue plus or minus 2%. Kiplinger's calendar for the week, which credits its estimate data to Refinitiv, an LSEG business, via Yahoo Finance and to S&P Global Market Intelligence via Briefing.com, listed $92.07 billion in revenue and $2.09 in adjusted EPS as of Aug. 24; a Barchart piece carried on Yahoo Finance on Aug. 22 put the same quarter at $92.01 billion and $2.01. Salesforce reports the same afternoon, having guided to GAAP diluted EPS of $1.74 to $1.76 and non-GAAP diluted EPS of $3.25 to $3.27 for the quarter.
Walmart's GAAP earnings per share fell 9% in fiscal Q2 while its adjusted number rose 19%. Almost the entire divergence sits in last year's comparison base, not in this year's quarter.
Walmart reported GAAP diluted EPS of $0.80 for the quarter ended July 31, 2026, down from $0.88, and adjusted EPS of $0.81, up from $0.68. The current quarter carried a net $0.01 of adjustments; the year-ago quarter carried a net $0.20. Walmart U.S. comparable sales excluding fuel rose 2.6% against an LSEG consensus of 3.8%, and the shares closed Thursday at $103.84.

Ross Stores lifted its full-year outlook to $8.61-$8.77 a share, and told you in the same sentence that roughly $0.60 of it is a tariff refund. Back that out and the raise over the May guide is closer to half a dollar than a full one.
Ross reported diluted EPS of $2.66 for the quarter ended August 1, 2026, on sales of $6.265 billion and a 10% comparable store sales gain. Approximately $253 million of IEEPA tariff refunds sat inside that number, worth about $0.60 a share and 405 of the 610 basis points of operating margin expansion. The shares traded at $249.68 in premarket trading Friday, up 9.1%, per a Benzinga note timestamped 4:53 a.m. Eastern; Friday's regular session had not closed at the time of writing.
BJ's headline comparable club sales rose 11.9%. Excluding gasoline, the figure the company actually guides on, they rose 3.1%.
BJ's Wholesale Club reported GAAP diluted EPS of $1.36 for the 13 weeks ended August 1, 2026, with adjusted EPS identical at $1.36 because the quarter's reconciliation carries no adjustments. Merchandise gross margin rate fell 20 basis points. The company raised its full-year adjusted EPS range to $4.60-$4.80 from $4.40-$4.60 while leaving its ex-gasoline comp guidance unchanged. Benzinga put the shares up 3.59% at $94.58 in Friday intraday trade, in a report timestamped 10:25 a.m. Eastern; Friday's session had not closed at the time of writing.

The optical manufacturer's August 17 release pairs a record quarter with a first-quarter outlook in which the non-GAAP and GAAP earnings lines move in opposite directions. The company's own reconciliation table names the reason.

Lowe's Reports Wednesday. The Guide It Affirmed in May Implies the Last Three Quarters Grow Slower Than the First Did.
Subtract the reported first quarter from the fiscal 2026 outlook Lowe's affirmed on May 20 and what is left is 5.5% to 8.5% sales growth against 10.3% delivered, and an adjusted earnings range whose low end sits below a year ago.
Baidu Revenue Falls 4% in Q2 as Legacy Ad Business Shrinks and AI Cloud Jumps 50%

AMC Robotics' Gross Margin Went From 19% to 80% as a Related-Party Line Grew to 83% of Sales
Revenue fell 33% in the June quarter. The Kami Vision revenue-sharing line rose 54% and now supplies more than four-fifths of what the Nasdaq-listed robotics company sells, while its product lines took in less than the quarter's total cost of revenues. The metric the release labels EBITDA adds back no depreciation and equals the pretax loss.

Teamshares' First Nasdaq Quarter Shows $9.5 Million of Net Income. One Non-Cash Line Inside It Is $24.9 Million.
The small-business acquirer, listed since June 23, reported the only positive net income figure among the four periods in its Aug. 14 release. Remove the fair-value change on a liability its own balance sheet shows at nil in December, and the quarter was a pretax loss, by our calculation.

dLocal Grew Operating Profit 15% In The First Half. The Guide It Did Not Raise Requires 38% To 48% In The Second.
dLocal raised its full-year TPV and gross profit growth targets on Thursday and left operating profit growth at the 27.5%-32.5% range it set in March. Operating profit grew 15% in each of the first two quarters. Pairing the company's own guided ranges, the second half has to deliver operating profit growth of roughly 38% to 48% — and the costs sitting between gross profit and operating profit, which rose 57% year over year in the first half, have to come in below their first-half dollar level under every combination of the two ranges.
Arcos Dorados Posted A 42.9% Comp In South America. Its CFO Put The Region's Inflation At 46-47%.
The McDonald's Latin America franchisee's headline metric, systemwide comparable sales, rose 15.3% in the second quarter on the strength of a 42.9% print in its South Latin America division. On the same morning's call, CFO Mariano Tannenbaum put weighted average inflation in that division at 46% to 47% and said sales were "slightly below" it - adding, in the same breath, "I would say in line with inflation." The company's own definition of the metric makes clear it is a nominal, constant-currency figure, not an inflation-adjusted one.
TJX Reports Wednesday, and Its Margin Guide Points Almost Exactly at the Margin Its Own 10-Q Implies for Last August
TJX is planning a second-quarter pretax profit margin of 11.4% to 11.5%. Its own filed 10-Q for the year-ago quarter shows $1.647 billion of pretax income on $14.401 billion of sales, which divides out to 11.44% — our arithmetic, not a margin TJX published. And the fiscal 2026 base the full-year guidance is measured against contains a credit card settlement that appears as $470 million, $419 million or $221 million depending on which document you open.
Keysight Reports Tuesday, and the Quarter It Is Being Compared To Was Cut $40 Million and Credited $97 Million
Keysight's April quarter carried a $100 million IEEPA tariff-refund receivable and a $40 million refund owed back to customers. The company's own results deck puts the clean quarter at $1.758 billion of revenue and $2.58 a share — not the reported $1.717 billion and $2.87.
Estée Lauder Reports on a Closed Fiscal Year Wednesday, But the Number That Matters Is Fiscal 2027
The Estée Lauder Companies reports fiscal fourth-quarter and full-year 2026 results before Wednesday's open, a date and time the company set in an August 5 notice. Its own May guidance leaves an implied fourth quarter of roughly 23 to 33 cents on an adjusted basis and a loss-to-breakeven quarter on a GAAP basis -- and a preliminary fiscal 2027 view that has yet to be converted into formal guidance.
Fabrinet's Own Guidance Sets a Flat Floor for Monday's Fiscal Fourth Quarter
Fabrinet reports fiscal fourth-quarter and full-year 2026 results after Monday's close, a date the company confirmed in a July 27 investor notice. Its own May guidance puts the low end of non-GAAP earnings at $3.72 a share -- precisely what it earned last quarter -- while guiding revenue up 3 to 6 percent sequentially. On a twelve-point gross margin, that gap is the whole story.

Bally's Reported $792.2 Million in Q2 Revenue Friday Night. It Did Not Report a Bottom Line.
Bally's Corporation (NYSE: BALY) disclosed second-quarter 2026 revenue of $792.2 million, up 20.5% from $657.5 million a year earlier, with no GAAP net income or loss figure and no consolidated income statement. The company filed a Rule 12b-25 late-filing notification on August 10 for the June 30 quarter, its third consecutive periodic report to arrive behind schedule. The single largest driver of the growth is the consolidation of Intralot, which closed in October 2025, though the prior-year figures on the two Intralot segment lines are a recast of Bally's former International Interactive business rather than acquired revenue.

Walmart's Q2 Lands Thursday. Check the Fiscal Year, and Check Whose Consensus You're Quoting
Walmart reports what its own investor-relations calendar labels FY2027 Q2 before the open on Thursday, August 20, six days after Census said July retail sales fell 0.6% to $763.6bn against a Reuters poll looking for +0.1%. The published "consensus" is not one number: Zacks carries $0.73 on $186.3bn, while Kiplinger's calendar, which credits Refinitiv and S&P Global Market Intelligence for its estimate data, lists 74 cents — the exact top of Walmart's own guided $0.72 to $0.74 range. And whatever prints, a quarter that ended July 31 cannot settle what happened to the American consumer in July.

Quanterix's 34% Revenue Growth Is Measured Against A Quarter That Did Not Contain Akoya
The same August 10 release that reported 34% growth wrote off all remaining goodwill from the Akoya acquisition and cut full-year revenue guidance by $26.5 million at the midpoint. On the company's own pro forma basis, revenue fell 23%.

The quarter itself showed $9,000 of net revenue, a $20.3 million GAAP net loss, $11.2 million of cash at June 30 and a $10.4 million stockholders' deficit.

Nu Holdings Cleared $1 Billion. Almost Every Growth Rate in the Release Is FX-Neutral
Nubank's first billion-dollar quarter is a reported IFRS number, not an adjusted one. But the 49% and 39% growth rates attached to it are currency-adjusted, and the reported-dollar arithmetic against last year's release is larger. The stock closed up 9.33%, not the double-digit figures quoted while the session was still running.

Its last reported quarter came in at 84.6% non-GAAP and its current-quarter non-GAAP guide is 83.0% to 85.0%. What the market bought was not the margin line but the contract book underneath it.
Friday's Retail Sales Print Is Not a Preview of Next Week's Retailer Comps
The Census Bureau releases July advance retail sales at 8:30 a.m. Friday, three trading days before Home Depot opens the biggest retail earnings week of the quarter. The macro print is nominal, industry-wide and, in the control group traders key off, excludes building materials altogether, while last quarter the four retailers' own comparable sales ran roughly five percentage points apart.
Tapestry Passed the Quarter and Flunked the Outlook: FY27 Guide Bakes In Another Kate Spade Decline

EnerSys Beat Came With Four Different EPS Numbers. Only One Of Them Is Clean.
EnerSys reported fiscal first-quarter results after Wednesday's close and shares jumped double digits in extended trading, though Thursday's session has so far given back most of that. The complication is that the battery and power-systems maker published its bottom line on four separate bases, and the gap between the biggest and the smallest is more than $1.80 a share.

The Q2 Scorecard Says 50% Earnings Growth. Take Out Two Companies And It Says 32%.
With 88% of the S&P 500 reported, FactSet's blended second-quarter earnings growth rate stands at 50.4%, a number with almost no precedent in the data series. Strip out two companies whose GAAP results were inflated by unrealized investment gains and the figure drops by more than 18 percentage points.

Tapestry's First FY2027 Guide, Not Its Fourth Quarter, Is Thursday's Real Test
